Points to note
  1. All information provided by the commenter is solely used for the purposes of processing the comments submitted as well as the collection, follow-up and analysis of service feedback.
  2. The Labour Affairs Bureau follows up on all comments according to Administrative Regulation No. 20/2026 “Operational System on Processing Public Comments”. In addition, please pay special attention to the following:
(1) When submitting the comments, the commenter should provide valid contact details, particularly a phone number or an e-mail address; if the comments submitted are related to the commenter’s direct interest, he/she should also provide his/her identification details.
(2) If the comments do not contain the information required by subparagraphs (1) and (3) of paragraph 3 of Article 7 of the aforesaid administrative regulation, or it lacks sufficient information for follow-up, the commenter is required to submit the relevant information or document(s) within the period specified by the Bureau. If the situations referred to in paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 9 occur, or for failure to provide valid contact details, such comments may be archived by the Bureau.
(3) The Bureau will give, within two working days from the working day immediately following receipt of the comments and all necessary information, an initial reply containing the preliminary progress and estimated timeframe of comment processing. The initial reply is only applicable to the comments containing a phone number or an e-mail address.
(4) In general, the comment processing will be completed within 15 working days after the initial reply. For failure to complete by the deadline, the Bureau will give an interim reply before its expiry and keep the commenter informed of the processing process in a timely manner.
(5) If there is a need or it involves a cross-departmental issue, the relevant information will be transferred to competent public departments, entities, or relevant individual(s) for processing. Moreover, the relevant information may be transferred to judicial authorities or competent entities for the fulfilment of statutory obligations.
(6) The commenter has the right, pursuant to Law No. 8/2005 “Personal Data Protection Act”, to request to access, correct or update his/her personal data kept by the Bureau.
