Notification of joining or withdrawing from the organization or group established outside the MSAR

 

1. Service targets:

Registered trade unions or trade union federations
 

2. Service procedures and required documentsNote 1：

A trade union or trade union federation shall inform the Labour Affairs Bureau within 30 days from the date of joining or withdrawing from the organization or group established outside the MSAR:

In the case of joining the organization or group established outside the MSAR, the following documents must be submitted:

(1) “Notification of joining or withdrawing from the organization or group established outside the MSAR,” duly completed;
(2) Copy of the minutes of the general assembly meeting in which the resolution to join the relevant organization or group was passed;
(3) The establishment or registration information of the relevant organization or group issued by the competent authority where the relevant organization or group is located;
(4) Copy of the constitution setting out the objects of the relevant organization or group;
(5) Information containing the trade union or trade union federation’s status or functions performed in the relevant organization or group.

In the case of withdrawing from the organization or group established outside the MSAR, the following documents must be submitted:

(1) “Notification of joining or withdrawing from the organization or group established outside the MSAR,” duly completed;
(2) Copy of the minutes of the general assembly meeting in which the resolution to withdraw from the relevant organization or group was passed;
(3) Information containing the withdrawal from the relevant organization or group (if any).

Free of charge

 

Note:

Note 1: Documents must be made in any of the official languages of the MSAR; if the documents are made in any other language, a translation which is made in accordance with Articles 182 to 184 of the Notary Code must be provided, unless a translation is exempted from the Labour Affairs Bureau.
