Notification of designation of office-holders

 

1. Service targets:

Registered trade union or trade union federations
 

2. Required formalities and documentsNote 1:

The trade union or trade union federation shall, upon receipt of the registration number of the trade union or trade union federation notified by the Labour Affairs Bureau, convene its first meeting of the general assembly and designate the office-holders and notify the Labour Affairs Bureau within 90 days from the date of designation of the office-holders and the required documents include: 

(1) “Notification of designation of office-holders,” duly completed;

(2) Copy of the minutes of the first meeting of the general assembly;

(3) Copies of MSAR Resident Identity Card of office-holders;

(4) Copies of employment certification documents of office-holders (those who have obtained the permission provided for in paragraph 2 of Article 16 of Law 6/2024 (Trade Union Law) are exempt from submitting copies of employment certification documents);

(5) Certificate of criminal record of office-holders;

(6) “Declaration of having the appropriate qualifications to perform the functions of office-holders” completed and signed by the office-holders.

Free of charge
 

4. Time required for processing:

60 days (counting from the date of receipt of application and all necessary documents)
 

Note:

Note 1: Documents must be made in any of the official languages of the MSAR; if the documents are made in any other language, a translation which is made in accordance with Articles 182 to 184 of the Notary Code must be provided, unless a translation is exempted from the Labour Affairs Bureau.
