Notes on calculation：

The maximum amount of the monthly remuneration used for calculation is MOP$21,500.00; the maximum amount of compensation is 12 times the monthly remuneration of the employee in the month of termination of employment, irrespective of the length of service; in other words, the maximum amount of dismissal compensation is MOP$258,000.00 (monthly remuneration MOP$21,500.00 X12).

   

The probationary period is presumed to be 90 days in the calculation; an employee who has not completed the probationary period shall not be entitled to the dismissal compensation.
