In accordance with the Administrative Regulation No 24/2004, 26th July, Organizational Structure and Function of Labour Affairs Bureau, the Occupational Safety and Health Department has the following duties: |
| |
- Organize educational and promotional activities on occupational safety and health;
- Conduct research, assessment and investigation for causes of occupational hazards;
- Monitor the compliance with regulations related to occupational safety and health conditions;
- Provide physical examination on occupational health and perform the evaluation of occupational diseases;
- Implement a standard for training qualifications on occupational safety and health and issue related accredited certificates;
- Conduct research and submit suggestions related with occupational safety and health for enhancing or improving regulations or guidelines.
