| In accordance with the Administrative Regulation No 24/2004, 26th July, Organizational Structure and Function of Labour Affairs Bureau, the Labour Inspection Department has the following duties: |
| |
- Handle disputes between employers and employees;
- Crack down on illegal work;
- Promote labour regulations to employers, employees and the related vocational training institutions for correct understanding and effective compliance with the labour regulations;
- Conduct research and provide technical opinions on relevant labour laws;
- Set up files about occupational injuries and occupational diseases, as well as occupational safety and health, and follow up the related procedures;
- Monitor the employment agencies operations.
